The Georgia Boot® Wedge work boot is made of high-performance leather that resists many of the chemicals or acids you may encounter at the farm and ranch or the work-site. The SPR™ leather of this Georgia Boot is superior to other leathers; it is roughly 3 times stronger and resists abrasions 2.5 times as well. This means that the leather will stay soft and supple, while other leathers might dry out and crack. SPR™ leather offers protection against and resists caustic alkali, sulfuric acid, calcium hydroxide, potassium phosphate and caustic potash, which means your boots will be “barnyard-proof”. Durability and performance continues with the “Poly Wedge ULTRA” outsole of this men’s boot. This sole resists oils, chemicals and abrasions. In addition to being non-marking, this outsole is also slip-resistant. Goodyear® welt construction enhances the boot’s strength and durability. There’s also a steel shank for stability. This 8-inch full-grain leather work boot has a covered cushion insole and a padded gusset for comfort.
